Multiple reports, including sources close to HoopDirt.com are confirming that Army’s Zach Spiker will be named as the head basketball coach at Drexel.  As we have reported all along, Drexel has been looking for someone with an academic background and Spiker fits that mold.  In addition to his experience at Army, he spent five seasons in the Ivy League as an assistant at Cornell.

Spiker led Army to a 19-14 record this past season.  In his seven seasons at Army, he has compiled a  102-112 record.

The official announcement is expected shortly.
