Chris Downs Wins 300th at St. Lawrence

Five players scored in double figures to lead the St. Lawrence University men’s basketball team to an 88-67 win over Bard, giving Saints head coach Chris Downs his 300th career victory at Annadale-on-Hudson on Friday night. Downs, now in his 20th season at St. Lawrence, has a 300-212 career record.

Miami Head Coach Jim Larrañaga Wins 600th Career Game

University of Miami men’s basketball coach Jim Larrañaga won his 600th career game Saturday afternoon at Pitt, improving to a 600-395 mark in 33 seasons as a head coach. Long-time College Assistant Glynn Cyprien Named Interim Head Coach of NBA D-League’s Iowa Energy

The Energy have announced that Head Coach Matt Woodley has been relieved of his head coaching duties, effective immediately. Glynn Cyprien has been named Interim Head Coach of the Energy. Cyprien joined the Memphis Grizzlies during the 2014-15 season as basketball operations assistant/scout, returning to the city where he helped guide the University of Memphis
