Falcons Name Hoy Graduate Assistant

After completing an impressive four-year stint as the Falcons’ point guard less than a year ago, Zac Hoy will return to Messiah for the 2015-16 season in a different role. This season Hoy will join head coach Rick Van Pelt and assistant coach Mark Seidenburg on the bench as a graduate assistant coach.

Hoy was a three-year starter and four-year letter winner for Messiah as the primary ball handler. He earned all-conference honors his senior season for his play at the point guard position. For his career, Hoy collected 326 assists (3.26 per game) against just 205 turnovers, for an impressive 1.59 assist to turnover ratio.

During his senior season, Hoy became just the 24th player in Messiah history to score 1,000 points in a career. He finished his career with 1,077 points placing him 18th on Messiah’s all-time list.

While at Messiah, Hoy is pursuing his Master’s Degree in Higher Education with a concentration in College Athletic Management.
