Assists in the planning, organizing and coaching of the ISU basketball team.
Responsibilities:
Assists in the court and classroom instruction and coaching in basketball techniques and strategy.
Evaluates individual performance and provides leadership and instruction in areas of deficiency.
Participates in the collection and analysis of tactical and statistical data of opponent teams.
Assists in designing game plans and strategies.
Counsels team members in academic, disciplinary, and personal matters.
Recommends individuals for basketball scholarships.
Studies, evaluates, and recommends innovations in basketball strategy and equipment.
Rules Compliance is a central element in personnel matters for employees within the Department of Athletics and for those employees outside the Department of Athletics who are involved in NCAA rules compliance activities. These individuals must comply with all NCAA rules.
