This Volunteer position provides assistance in planning, organizing, recruiting, and maintaining a well-balanced, competitive NCAA Division III men’s basketball program. Reports to the Head Basketball Coach and Director of Athletics.

Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach in all aspects of conducting a NCAA III men’s basketball program
Attend all practices and games
Assist in the recruitment of student athletes
Assist with team fund raising activities
Assist in monitoring student-athlete academic progress
Integrate the core values of respect, compassion, integrity, justice, and service in all aspects of interaction
Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
2-4 years of basketball coaching experience; college coaching preferred
Collegiate playing experience preferred
Knowledge of NCAA Division III rules and regulations
Valid Driver’s License in good standing from the State of residency, and ability to drive vans
Ability to work late hours, nights and weekends
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
