Green Mountain College has an entry level assistant job open with our Men’s Basketball program. This is a Part Time Position with a very small stipend and the possibility of on campus housing.

The Assistant Coach reports to the Head Coach of the Men’s Basketball Program. The primary tasks are to assist the Head Coach in all aspects of the program including plan practices and game strategies; game day responsibilities, film editing and recruiting.

Specific Responsibilities
Assist the Head Coach in developing and conducting organized practices
Assist the Head Coach with academic monitoring
Assist with recruiting: on campus and off.
Develop positive rapport with athletics staff, as well as the entire GMC community
Represent the university to various constituents in a professional manner
Perform other duties as assigned by the Head Coach

Qualifications include:
A bachelors degree, a driver’s license, experience either as a college player or college manager, or a coach on the HS/AAU level.
