• Conform to and knowledgeable of all NCAA regulations and conference requirements.
• Exhibit proficiency through a passing score on the NCAA coaches examination.
• Participate in organization and execution of team practices and individual workouts.
• Develop scouting reports on opponents and breaks down film from our own team.
• Recruit student-athletes.
• Provide spiritual/social development of student athletes.
• Plan and direct basketball camp.
• Engage the University community by participating in campus activities to include: all-staff meetings, chapels, forums, retreats and other opportunities for building relationships and advocating Athletics.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge and technical skills necessary to accomplish the assigned task.
• A maturing and contagious Christian faith, knowledge of and the willingness to actively support the Christian mission of the University and accept the lifestyle standards of the Christian Community.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coaches, athletes, students, faculty, administration and the community.
• Three years previous experience in coaching basketball is preferred.
