The Assistant Men’s Basketball coach will assist the Head Men’s Basketball coach in the areas of coaching, film, scouting, recruiting and academics.

Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Assist in the organization, preparation, and coaching of the UMass Boston Men’s Basketball Team to include:
• ŸAttendance at practices and games
• ŸRecruiting and scouting off-campus, primarily the Metro Boston area.
• Implement the basic principles and policies of the athletic governing bodies (NCAA / LEC) and UMass Boston
• Coaching responsibilities as assigned by the head coach
• Assist in monitoring the academic progress of student-athletes
• Assist with recruiting to include: on-campus tours, phone calls, and off-campus viewing
