Description:
Towson University is a Division I member of the Colonial Athletic Association. The purpose of this role is to enhance the student-athlete experience for Towson University’s Men’s Basketball program. It will assist in video coordination, academic standing, and increased access with our Total Tiger program, which leads to more community service efforts.

Organize all game and practice edits and assist the assistant coaches in formulating scouting efforts; devise and implement class check schedule for all men’s basketball student athletes; assist in programming and education of the development of student-athletes; provide mentoring as needed; recruit, cultivate and train prospective managers for day to day functions involving practice, and games preseason for men’s basketball; arrange walk on tryouts; coordinate all home and away ticket requests in accordance with NCAA rules; assist in providing daily updates as well as arranging treatment schedules for student-athletes; and
arrange and coordinate all efforts needed by men’s basketball.
 

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience within the sport of Basketball. Collegiate and/or professional playing experience preferred. A Criminal Background Investigation is required for the hired candidate and the results may impact employment.
