Description:	Winona State University invites you to join our Community of Learners as Head Men’s Basketball Coach. As our Head Coach, you will be responsible for: (1) evaluating & identifying quality student-athletes within the university, NSIC and NCAA policies; (2) organizing, planning & coaching all practices & games; (3) evaluating individual performances; (4) coordinating & organizing team travel accommodations & itineraries; 5) scouting opponents including the organization and/or supervision of film editing and game tape exchange; (6) recruiting, training, and monitoring of all aspects of a Division II intercollegiate basketball program; (7) complying with all NCAA, NSIC and university rules & regulations; and (8) monitoring and reporting academic success of student-athletes to ensure graduation of student-athletes. Minimum qualifications for this position are a Master’s Degree at time of appointment (in lieu of a master’s degree, 10 years of successful head coach experience at a four year institution may be considered), a minimum of two years of demonstrated success as a head coach at the college level, and coaching experience at a four year college/university.
