Wyoming has extended the contract of men's basketball coach Larry Shyatt by one year.

Shyatt's contract now runs through the 2016-17 season.

Shyatt signed his original contract with the Cowboys on March 31, 2011. His initial contract was for five years with a base salary of $190,000 per year and included incentives for up to $645,000 per year.
