Last month, HoopDirt.com reported that Conor Dow had been hired as the Director of Basketball Operations at Lafayette (DI DIRT: Administrative Staffers Hired).  The hiring was made official today by Head coach Fran O’Hanlon.

Dow comes to the Leopards after a four-year playing career at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. A captain his final two seasons, he finished ninth in the NEWMAC conference in three-point percentage during the 2013-14 campaign. Following his senior season, he continued to work with the program as a scout and recruiter, attending events and showcases, and successfully recruiting three incoming players for Clark’s Class of 2019.

Additionally, Dow worked as the Director of Basketball Operations at the Mplex in Mansfield, Mass., an indoor sports complex that plays host to a variety of sporting events. While at the Mplex, he piloted tryouts, scheduling and marketing for the Boston Bobcats AAU program, developing skill workouts and clinics while assisting with various other programs.

Dow has extensive camp experience as a member of the staff at Hoop Mountain in Beverly, Mass. during the summer of 2014 and the camp director of the Boston Sports Club at Wellesley in 2012. Dow will be responsible for a large portion of camp duties with the Leopards, including assisting with the organization and execution of Lafayette’s Elite Summer Camp and the Lafayette Boys’ Summer Day Camp.

In addition to camp responsibilities, Dow will support day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball program, including tape exchange, video operations, team travel and the supervision of four undergraduate student managers.
