Iona Athletic Director Matt Glovaski has told Jon Rothstein that Rick Pitino will become the Gaels new head basketball coach. The former Kentucky and Louisville head coach had been coaching Panathinaikos B.C. in Greece. He would replace Tim Cluess who resigned due to health concerns yesterday.
