According to a Jeff Goodman report, Marshall men’s basketball coach Dan D’Antoni has been forced out: D’Antoni had spent the past ten seasons as the head coach at his alma mater where he went 177-148 (.545). More on this once it becomes official.

Jackson elevated to Associate Head Coach at Marshall

Marshall men’s basketball coach Dan D’Antoni announced on Friday that assistant coach Cornelius Jackson has been promoted to Associate Head Coach. “Corny has earned his way,” D’Antoni said of Jackson. “I didn’t hand it to him. He earned it. I think saying thank you is extremely important when dealing with people you work with or anyone connected to Marshall.
