Snow College is seeking to hire a Director of Strength and Conditioning for its top tier NJCAA Athletic Department.
The Director of Strength & Conditioning will be responsible for the development, implementation, monitoring, and assessment of strength and conditioning programs for all college sponsored sports. This is a 12-month position with the expectation to work with assigned teams and programs (Football, M/W Basketball, M/W Soccer, Volleyball, Softball, Wrestling, Rodeo and Cross Country/Track) in all phases of a year-round athletic development program. Duties include but are not limited to: program design, and implementation of training programs to optimize performance and decrease injury potential of teams; assisting with the oversight of sport-specific conditioning programs, teaching proper weight lifting, speed, agility and conditioning techniques; encouraging and motivating student-athletes to train and perform to their utmost potential, maintain a positive and competitive training environment. Schedule athletic teams for training sessions; player development and assessment. Qualifications: The candidate should possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree with preference given to a Master’s degree in Physical Education, Physiology, Sport Science, or related field of study.  NSCA, CSCS Certification (or equivalent) is required; two to three years related work experience; Perform other duties as assigned by the Athletic Director.
Start Date: July 26th
Salary: $50K/year (Non-Benefitted)
