Head Men’s Basketball Coach – Graceland University

Graceland University is seeking a full-time, 12-month Head Men’s Basketball Coach on the Lamoni, IA campus. This position will inherit an exciting and energetic program that won the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Championship in 2018. Additionally, Graceland University will be renovating its iconic competition facility, Morden Center, in 2021 in time for the 2021-22 season.
The head coach oversees all aspects of the Men’s Basketball varsity and junior varsity programs in compliance with the rules and policies of Graceland University, Heart of America Athletic Conference and NAIA. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: recruiting and retaining prospective and current athletes, budgeting, scheduling practices and competition and training of all athletes in the program as well as additional duties as assigned by the athletic director.
The position requires a bachelor’s degree, previous collegiate head coaching and recruiting experience and a successful completion of background check in accordance with Graceland University policy. Master’s degree, previous collegiate head coaching and recruiting experience at the collegiate level is preferred.
