Instructor of Exercise Science This position provides teaching and expertise in exercise science to related departments and programs; participates in appropriate professional development; provides service to the university and serves western North Dakota as a resource within area of expertise.  Assistant Coach: This position is responsible for assisting with one of the following varsity sports which compete in the North Star Athletic Association of the NAIA:  Baseball, Basketball, Softball, Track, Volleyball or Wrestling.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s Degree with emphasis in Exercise Science or related field
• Coaching experience in one of the following sports:  Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track, Volleyball or Wrestling
• Ability to teach to a variety of learning styles
• Excellent computer and internet skills; software skills in MS Office Suite
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize
• Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well with diverse populations
• Detail oriented, conscientious
• Ability to present professional demeanor at all times

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Doctorate Degree
• College coaching experience in one of the following sports:  Basketball, Baseball, Softball, Track, Volleyball or Wrestling
• College teaching experience
