Some Friday “dirt”… I can confirm through multiple sources that Tony Sheals is no longer the head coach at DII Virginia Union.  Sheals was hired last April after spending the previous season as the head coach at Saint Augustine’s University.  He has also been the head coach at Delaware State and Bethune-Cookman.  VUU went 10-17

Pickelman Assumes McMurry Hoops Coaching Reins

McMurry University Director of Athletics Sam Ferguson has announced that Zach Pickelman has been selected as the University’s new men’s basketball head coach. Pickelman is the 16th men’s basketball head coach in McM school history.

Otterbein University named Brian Oilar its new head coach for men’s basketball, Dawn Stewart, director of athletics, released today.
