I have heard from great sources that Miami Dade College head coach Stephen Cowherd will become an assistant at ULM.  Cowherd has spent the past five seasons as the head coach at MDC. He has also spent time on the staff at South Alabama, and served as a graduate assistant under Leonard Hamilton at Florida State. It sounds like the hiring will be made official by the end of the week. No word yet on a possible replacement at Miami Dade.
