Northwest Florida State head coach Steve DeMeo has been chosen as the 2015 Spalding NJCAA DI Coach of the Year.  DeMeo’s squad recently beat South Plains (TX) in overtime to with the NJCAA DI National Championship.  The Raiders finished the year with a 33-2 record.  In two seasons at NWF, DeMeo has compiled a 55-8 record.  He was also the head coach at Monroe CC (NY) from 1993-1995 where he went 53-8. Following his time at Monroe, DeMeo was an assistant at Iona, Providence, Central Florida, and Hofstra.
