Michael Freilich has been named as a Graduate Assistant on Head Coach Kendal Wallace’s staff at LaGrange College. He will be responsible for assisting in recruiting operations, video/scout preparations, in-practice coaching, analyzing statistics, and will be assisting on the Varsity Reserve team.
Freilich spent four years as a student manager at Eastern Connecticut State University under Head Coach Bill Geitner, during which time the Warriors posted an overall record of 85-30, winning three straight Little East Conference regular season titles. During his time as manager he worked closely with the coaches during practices, helping during drills, and the setup and cleanup before and after practices. He also helped with statistics, food orders, and other managerial duties on and off the court. In his last semester he served as the Intern for Coach Geitner, during which time his responsibilities included; editing film, compiling/analyzing statistics, and helping with the daily operations of the program. He also administered the team’s social media account.
Freilich also volunteers as the Head Coach for an AAU Team in Connecticut, the CT Roughriders. He has spent two years running practices and coaching in games.
Freilich graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Sports & Leisure Management and a Minor in Coaching.
