Head Men’s Basketball Coach Steven Enright has announced the addition of Kevin Grek to his staff.
Grek comes to Bridgewater from Campbell University where he served as the director of player development. He was charged with logistical coordination for the Camels program along with film breakdown, on-campus recruiting, travel arrangements and game day management. While at Campbell, Grek coach two Big South All-Conference student-athletes and one Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The Camels also made an appearance in the Big South Championship game during his time with the program.
Prior to his stop in Buies Creek, he served as a graduate assistant coach at Rutgers University- Newark. He assisted in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, scouting, skill development, team logistics, office administration and academic monitoring. The program also made an appearance in the ECAC Division III Championship game.
He has served as a visiting coach at several camps across the country, including the University of Kansas Bill Self Basketball Camp, Campbell Camels Basketball Camp, Jim Boeheim’s Syracuse Basketball Camp, Colorado Buffaloes Boys’ Basketball Camp, Princeton Basketball Elite Camp, Scarlet Raiders Basketball Clinic and Hoop Group Elite and Academic Elite Camps.
Grek was a four-year letter winner and three-year starter at Kean University. A two-time captain, he earned the team’s MVP award his junior year and was Kean’s Scholar Athlete in 2015, 2016 and 2017. He also was recognized on the NJAC All-Academic team and the NABC Honors Court in addition to being an active member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.
