About the Program: The University of Northwestern Ohio (UNOH), located in Lima, OH, is currently seeking applicants for the Men’s Basketball Head Coach Position.  UNOH is an NAIA affiliated school and competes in the Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC).

Job Summary/Essential Functions: This position is housed in the athletic department and will report to the Director of Athletics.  The head coach is responsible for all aspects of the men’s basketball program, including recruitment of qualified student-athletes; promoting the welfare and academic progress of student-athletes; practice and game preparation; budget management; scheduling and scouting; performing the daily administrative duties of the program; supervision of assistant coaches and the overall administration of the men’s basketball program. Duties must be completed while adhering to all University, WHAC Conference, and NAIA rules and regulations.

 

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.  Collegiate men’s basketball coaching experience and demonstrated recruiting ability required.  A valid driver’s license and driving record which meets institutional requirements.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a collegiate men’s basketball Head Coach and demonstrated success in competition.
