The University of Wisconsin Green Bay will hire Wyoming assistant coach Sundance Wicks as their new Head Men’s Basketball Coach. This was first reported by USA TODAY NETWORK-Wisconsin’s Scott Venci.
Wicks had been on the Cowboys staff for the past three years, and was the head coach at D2 Missouri Western before that. Wicks has also worked at Northern State (his alma mater), Colorado (2006-07), Northern Illinois (2007-11) and San Francisco (2015-16).
According to Venci, Wicks is unsure on the length of the deal:
Wicks will replace Will Ryan, who was fired back on January 24th.
More on this one once it becomes official.
