Catching up on some things…

I have heard that Robert Burlingham has joined the MTSU staff as the coordinator of operations and player development. Burlingham spent last season as the DBO at McNeese State, and was a GA at Central Michigan before that.

I mentioned this one on Twitter earlier in the week…I can confirm that the search at D3 FDU-Florham is done. They are hiring a current head coach. Should be ok to roll with the name shortly. Stay tuned…

D2 Southern New Hampshire assistant Dawson Dickson has been named as the head coach at JUCO Minnesota North – Vermilion CC. Dickson had been on the SNHU staff since 2021, and has also worked at Keene State and NHTI. No official release from the school yet, but Dickson tweeted about the move HERE.

D3 Western Connecticut will hire former St. John’s GA Steven Rudd as an assistant. Before his time as a GA for the Red Storm, he worked for the program as a manager, serving under both Chris Mullin and Mike Anderson. An official announcement is expected shortly.

I have heard that USCAA Johnson and Wales (Charlotte) will hire Marc Slade as their new head basketball coach. Slade has been an D3 Roanoke for the past three seasons, most recently serving as the associate head coach. He has also been an assistant at Emory & Henry and Randolph. More on this when it becomes official.

I have heard that Zoom interviews have wrapped up at D3 UT Dallas. Sounds like on campus interviews will be scheduled over the next few weeks. Will have names soon.
