JUCO NEWS: Indian River State adds Jackson as Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach

Indian River State College Head Men’s Coach Bill Morosco announced the addition of Coach Tj Jackson to the coaching staff. Coach Tj joins The River with experiences at the NJCAA level, prep level and also having founded collegiate programs at the USCAA level. 

Coach Tj comes to The River, as no stranger to NJCAA Region 8 with a stop at Broward College during the 2019-20 campaign which was one of the most successful seasons in the program’s history. Coach Tj helped guide the to statistical highs being ranked 1st in points per game 92.1, 1st in FG made per game 34.5, 1st in FG PCT 54.7, 2nd in FT PCT 73.2, and 5th  in 3PT PCT 36.0 

Coach Anthony Q. Anderson – Formal Broward College Head Men’s Basketball Coach, Current University of Fort Lauderdale Head Men’s Coach had this to say:

“The hardest working coach in the country, a true professional with high character. No doubt in mind he will be a great addition for Coach Sco and IRSC.”

Coach Tj, has also helped start collegiate athletics at University of Fort Lauderdale and Atlantis University. During Coach Tj time at the Prep Level he served as the Assistant Coach and Player Development Coach at NSU University School who finished top 25 during his tenure also producing 7 ESPN Top 100 players.

Coach Tj Jackson is a native of Moss Point, MS, he currently resides in Fort Pierce, FL with his wife Tameka Jackson and their two sons, Latravis Jackson and Tyler Jackson.
