Brent Gaither has been hired as an assistant coach for the Men’s Basketball team at Shawnee State.

Last year, Gaither served as a graduate assistant at Point University in West Point Georgia. Before that, he competed for Point University for 4 years on the men’s basketball team.

Gaither has been a basketball instructor for the Point Guard College for the past two years, he has traveled the country working with top-flight talent amongst the high school and collegiate ranks. Brent also spent the 2020-2021 season as an assistant at Morrow High School in Morrow Georgia.

He holds a bachelor’s in business management with a minor in sports management as well as a master’s in business administration both from Point University.
