I can confirm that NJCAA D1 Seminole State (OK) head men’s basketball coach Lucas Hunter has resigned. He had been the head coach at SSC since June of 2023, going 6-23 in his only season. Prior to his time with the Trojans, he spent three seasons as an assistant at NCAA D2 Northeastern State (OK).

I have also heard that Hunter will be replaced on an interim basis by current assistant Austin Bogle. Bogle joined the Seminole State staff earlier this off season after spending one season as a graduate manager at Hawaii. He also worked with Hunter for one season as an assistant at Northeastern State (2021-22), and spent time as the Special Assistant to the Head Coach at Southern Utah.
