Keiser men’s basketball Head Coach Marcus “Chief” Bryant announced on Monday the hiring of Payton Hulsey as assistant coach.
“I couldn’t be more excited to have Coach Hulsey along the sideline with us this season.,” Bryant said. “Already, he’s shown many qualities of being a great assistant coach and has an outstanding passion for skill development. Although the timing of hiring a new assistant wasn’t ideal, he has made the transition as smooth as possible. I look forward to Payton being a valuable resource for our players and much success in the near future.”
“I am happy, thrilled, and appreciative for this opportunity to work with Coach Chief, the staff, players, and Keiser University,” Hulsey said. “Keiser has a rich tradition of winning. I hope to help continue that success with the goal of winning a national championship.”
