Job Title: Head of Operations 

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Operations to lead and oversee the execution of our basketball programs. This role will be responsible for management of approximately 25 coaching staff, venue coordination, basketball program delivery, and player and parent management. The ideal candidate will have a strong basketball coaching background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate both local and international contexts. 

2xSG is a management company which manages the largest basketball operations in Singapore. The company manages all of the assets of SG Basketball and FastBreak, including 50+ youth teams, adult leagues, a privately owned dedicated basketball training facility, the largest youth basketball league in Singapore and the largest youth basketball tournament in South East Asia. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • HR & Coach Management: 

○ Oversee coach scheduling and ensure efficient staffing. 

○ Develop and implement coach training programs to maintain high coaching standards. 

○ Identify and hire suitable coaching staff to best suit each business unit ● Venue & Program Management: 

  • Coordinate court bookings and ensure venues are efficiently managed. ● Supervise the delivery of basketball programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Develop basketball systems and make strategic decisions on program structure. ● Plan and implement program schedules. 
  • Customer & Stakeholder Relations: 

○ Maintain strong relationships with parents, players, schools, and international institutions. 

○ Serve as the primary point of contact for both local and international schools. ○ Ensure excellent communication and program delivery for all stakeholders. 

Core Competencies & Skills: 

  • Extensive experience as a basketball coach with deep knowledge of the sport. ● Strong organizational and communication skills. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a high level of emotional intelligence and empathy. ● Ability to work effectively across local and international settings. 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to improve and innovate basketball programs. Experience Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in basketball coaching, sports management, or operations. ● Proven track record in managing other coaches, peers and stakeholders ● Extensive experience as a basketball coach, with a deep understanding of player development, training methodologies, and program execution. 
  • FIBA certification preferred 
  • Experience within an educational context, including within international schools and / or experience within Asia / a multicultural setting preferable 

Candidates with strong leadership qualities, deep coaching expertise, and a track record of operational success may be considered with less experience.

Job Title: Head of Administration 

Job Overview: 

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head of Administration to oversee and manage the administrative operations of our organization. This role will be responsible for general administration, customer and supplier management, marketing, bookkeeping, and website content management. The ideal candidate will be professional, proactive, and able to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Administrative Management: 

○ Oversee general administrative functions 

○ Manage registration processes, including communication with parents ○ Coordinate with schools regarding contracts and administrative requirements ● Customer & Supplier Management: 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and concerns. 
  • Manage relationships with suppliers for apparel, equipment, and other needs. ● Website & Content Management: 

○ Update and maintain website content, including program details, registration forms, and schedules. 

○ Ensure all program information is accurate and up to date. 

  • Marketing & Social Media: 
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and advertising for all programs and initiatives 
  • Manage social media platforms and engagement 
  • Bookkeeping Administration: 

○ Handle general data entry for bookkeeping tasks 

○ Process invoices (payables and receivables) 

Core Competencies & Skills: 

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask. 
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. 
  • Professional demeanor with excellent communication skills. 
  • Experience in administrative roles, customer service, and marketing. ● Proficiency in data entry, bookkeeping, and digital content management.

Experience Requirements: 

  • 5-10 years work in a similar administrative role 
  • High degree of competency with Google G-Suite products 
  • Experience with ‘drag and drop’ web content management systems ● Social media management and marketing experience 
  • Fluent written and spoken English, with Chinese language skills an advantage ● An understanding of bookkeeping and / or accounts systems preferable 

Candidates with strong organisational skills, excellent communication and detail orientated strengths may be considered with less experience.
