Victory Rock Prep is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Basketball Coach.

This position will work directly with our Boys High School and Post-grad basketball teams. This is an entry level position that will allow coaches to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to athletics at the highest level. Coaches will be challenged to mentor, demonstrate leadership, plan activities and, most importantly, have a flexible schedule. Assistant coaches will have the opportunity to gain the coaching and operational experience necessary to work in the college basketball industry. This position will report directly to the head coach of its individual program. There may be teaching/academic coach roles available as well.

Primary duties will include:

• On court instruction
• Individual skill development
• Statistics
• Practice / Games
• Equipment Management
• Transportation
• Social Media / Film / Film Breakdown
• College Placement
• Housing Supervision / Resident Assistant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-Year accredited College or University
• Previous experience working in College/High School Athletics
• Must be able to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former collegiate basketball players/managers
• Previous coaching or operations experience
• Desire to work in college/high school athletics
• Experience using video breakdown software such as Hudl and/or synergy
