According to a Pete Thamel post, Steve Prohm is stepping down as the head basketball coach at Murray State after just three seasons. Prohm, who had a great run in his first stint with the Racers (2011-15), has struggled this time around, losing 15+ games in each of his three seasons.
After departing MSU the first time, Prohm spent six seasons as the head coach at Iowa State (97-95 (.505)).
