Following up on something that HoopDirt.com first reported yesterday (D1 DIRT). Scott Spinelli is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at Chicago State. Here is the brief official announcement that the school released:

Chicago State has parted ways with head coach Scott Spinelli, Vice President/Director of Athletics Dr. Monique Carroll announced on Friday.

A national search for a new men’s basketball coach will begin immediately.
