We are in search of a graduate assistant men’s basketball coach to assist the head coach  in all areas of running and operating a college basketball program.

Job Responsibilities 

• Assist in administrative duties of the program
• Assist in organization and the recruitment of potential student athletes • Liaison to the admissions office, academic services, and on campus dining • Traveling coordinator for all road trips
• Assistant Video Coordinator
• Assist in community service projects and relations
• Academic supervision of current student athletes
• Assist in off season strength and conditioning program
• Assist in practice planning and execution
• Assist in opponent scouting and preparation
• Assist in recruitment and organization of the development team program  • Head development team coach
• Assist in summer camp organization

Job Requirements 

• Undergraduate degree in any field
• Accepted into MVNU graduate program of choice
• Ability to work in a year around fast paced environment
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be a person of integrity and responsibility
• Prior collegiate playing/coaching or high school coaching experience preferred • Ability to work in a team driven first environment
• Well versed in Microsoft word, excel, outlook, and power point • Positive upbeat energy REQUIRED
