Former University of Illinois Chicago head basketball coach Luke Yaklich has been named as the head basketball coach at Lincoln-Way Community HS (IL).

Yaklich served as the head coach at UIC from 2020-2024, where he went 47-70 (.402). He also worked as a high major assistant before his time in Chicago, with stops at Texas and Michigan.

From 2000-13, Yaklich had multiple HS stops in Illinois, winning over 200 games before heading to the college level.
