The Graduate Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach will assist with all phases of the program. This includes recruiting, scouting, game management, study hall, operations, and supporting student athletes.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Recruit student athletes that fit D’Youville University and their mission.

• Must be present and engaged at every team function.

• Cooperates and is professional with other staff members to ensure a positive student athlete experience is obtained.

• Scouting assignments as assigned by head coach.

• Comfortable running skill development workouts on the floor.

• Ability to create edits using photoshop and experience in running social media accounts.

• Weekend work, irregular hours, travel, and physical demands are required in this position.

• Assist in team travel and meals.

• Demonstrated knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. 

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a small college setting and be flexible.
• Valid drivers license 
• Knowledge of Sports Code, Synergy, and other Scouting Apps.
• Genuine interest in being a coach and working with student athletes.
