The USC Aiken Men’s Basketball program is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Volunteer Assistant Coach to join our staff for the upcoming season. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual passionate about basketball to gain valuable experience at the NCAA Division II level and contribute to the success of a competitive collegiate program.

As a Volunteer Assistant Coach, you’ll work closely with the head coach and assistant coaches, assisting in various aspects of the program. This position is ideal for someone looking to pursue a career in coaching, sports management, or athletic administration.

Responsibilities:
* Assist with on-court player development during practices and individual workouts.
* Provide support during home and away games, including pre-game and in-game duties.
* Assist with film breakdown and scouting reports.
* Contribute to the overall administrative tasks of the program, such as equipment management and facility setup.
* Foster a positive and supportive environment for student-athletes.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the head coach.

Qualifications:
* A strong passion for basketball and a solid understanding of the game.
* Previous playing or coaching experience at the collegiate level is preferred, but not required.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A strong work ethic, reliable, and a team-oriented mindset.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as dictated by practice and game schedules.
