Prestige Worldwide Sports Academy in Fort Lauderdale, FL is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Basketball Coach.

This position will work directly with our Post-grad basketball teams. This is an entry level position that will allow coaches to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to athletics at the highest level. Assistant Coaches will have the opportunity to lead player development, mentor, teach “X’s and O’s”, assist in recruiting, assist in college placement, plan activities and have a flexible schedule. This opportunity will give the assistant coaches the coaching and operations experience necessary to work in the basketball industry and progress to the college and professional basketball coaching levels.

Primary duties will include:

• Housing supervision
• Filming/Video Breakdown
• On court instruction
• Individual skill development
• Statistics
• Assist head coaches with practices and games
• Equipment Management
• Transportation
• Daily Basketball Operations

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-Year accredited College or University
• Previous experience working in College/High School Athletics
• Must be able to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

• Former college basketball Player or Manager
• Previous Coaching experience
• Desire to work in College/High School athletics
• Experience using Video Breakdown software such as Hudl or Krossover
