Longtime Kutztown University head basketball coach Bernie Driscoll will retire after 25 years as the Golden Bears head coach.
The coaching veteran put together a 362-319 (.532) record during his time at Kutztown. He is the winningest coach in Kutztown history, a four-time PSAC East Coach of the Year (2003, 2009, 2015, 2016) and six-time KU Men’s Coach of the Year. Driscoll has won six PSAC East titles (2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2016, 2017), has led KU to four PSAC Championship games, four NCAA Tournament appearances and has won 15 postseason games.
Prior to his time at KU, Driscoll was the top assistant at league foe West Chester from 1987-2000.
