Utah Men’s Basketball adds Mason as Head Video Coordinator

Utah head men’s basketball coach Alex Jensen announced the addition of Jordan Mason to his staff as head video coordinator.

“We’re happy to have Jordan join our Runnin’ Utes family,” Jensen said. “He comes to us with a wealth of information having been on staff with the OKC Blue and will be very integral in what we do. His ability to connect with our players having recently played at the Division I level will be very beneficial.”

Mason comes to Salt Lake City after spending the 2024-25 season with the OKC Blue, the G-League affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, where he served as a video analyst/coaching associate. While with Blues, Mason managed video and film operations also also assisted with the OKC Thunder. In addition, he also designed and implemented individualized skill workouts that aligned with team systems to help develop players.

His work included collaborating with the coaching staff to present actionable strategies against opponents through film analysis. He also had a hand in on-court pre-draft workouts to help support the evaluation process.

“I want to thank Coach Jensen for the opportunity to join his staff and be part of the rich history at Utah,” said Mason. “I’m ready to hit the ground running and contribute to the program in any way I can to help it succeed.”

Before joining the NBA ranks, Mason was a member of the Wagner men’s basketball team from 2019-23. The Seahawks captured the NEC regular-season title his sophomore year (2020-21) and followed up with a second-place finish in league action his junior season.
