I can confirm that as of yesterday, James Williams is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Voorhees University (SC).
Williams was elevated to head coach back in May of 2023 after serving on the Tigers staff as an assistant coach. Prior to his time at Voorhees, he served as an assistant coach at NAIA Rust College.
Voorhees is schedule to play their first game of the season in less that three weeks at Columbia International. There is no word yet on a possible replacement.
