Former IU Indianapolis head men’s basketball coach Paul Corsaro has filed a Tort Claim Notice against the Trustees of Indiana University / IU Indianapolis, alleging wrongful termination.
Corsaro, who led the Jaguars during the 2024–25 season, was dismissed in May following an investigation into alleged misconduct. According to the notice prepared by his attorneys and submitted to the IU Board of Trustees, Corsaro claims he was never informed of the specific reasons for his termination “for cause” and that the university’s termination statement was “plainly false.”
In his lone season at the helm, Corsaro guided IU Indy to its first double-digit win campaign since 2018–19. The Jaguars’ six Horizon League victories were also more than the previous three seasons combined.
Before taking over at IU Indy, the Indianapolis native served as head coach at Division II University of Indianapolis, where he compiled a 79–37 (.681) record and captured two GLVC Championships.
