Following tonight’s 67-64 win vs UCSB, Doug Gottlieb announced that he will step away from his radio show to focus on coaching.
“As of now, we’re going to take a break from it,” Gottlieb said in his news conference (below). “I’ve got to have a life. I’ve got to be there for these kids. I’ve got to really dig in because we’re building something cool here.”
Gottlieb had been pulling double duty since taking over at Green Bay back in the spring of 2024. He did say that he will continue to do podcasts, but that will be on his on time from his home.
Green Bay is currently 6-7 (1-2 Horizon) – an improvement already from last seasons 4-28 mark.
