Jason Hinson is no longer the head men’s basketball coach at NJCAA D2 Labette Community College (KS). He has been replaced on an interim basis by Jermaine Maybank.

Maybank, who had previously served as an assistant at Labette, began this season as an assistant at Northern Oklahoma-Enid. He played collegiately at Independence CC, St. John’s, and Kansas State, and spent time overseas as a player following graduation.

There has been no reason given for the mid-season change.

Labette is currently 8-10, with Maybank serving as the head coach for the Cardinals last two games.
