Josh Gibson is no longer serving as the head men’s basketball coach at NAIA Defiance College.
Gibson was hired in April 2021 and led the program through its transition from NCAA Division III to the NAIA while guiding the Yellow Jackets to a conference tournament appearance and developing multiple all-conference and academic all-conference honorees.
Prior to Defiance, he held head coaching positions at Urbana University (2019-20), Lourdes University (2016-19) and Brescia University (2012-16), highlighted by a KIAC Coach of the Year honor and an NAIA national tournament appearance at Brescia.
This past season DC was 13-14 (8-14 WHAC).
