REPORT: Belmont set to hire Duke’s Bradds as new Head Basketball Coach

Belmont University is finalizing a deal to hire Evan Bradds as its next head men’s basketball coach, according to multiple reports. Bradds, currently an assistant at Duke University, will replace Casey Alexander, who recently departed for Kansas State University.

A former Belmont standout, Bradds was a two-time Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Year and remains the program’s Division I all-time leading scorer. He brings NBA experience to the role, having worked with the Boston Celtics and Utah Jazz before joining Duke last year, and is expected to remain with the Blue Devils through the NCAA Tournament.
