Back on 3/31 (DAILY DIRT), I mentioned that Idaho State assistant Devin Kastrup was a name to keep an eye on at Highland CC (IL). I can now confirm that Kastrup will indeed become the Cougars new head basketball coach.
Kastrup has been on the ISU staff for the past two seasons, and was the head coach at Cloud County CC (KS) before that. Kastrup is no stranger to the JUCO world, having also served as the head coach at Southwestern CC (IA), where he also played.
An official announcement is expected here in the next few weeks.
