Wes Long has departed the MTSU basketball staff and will head to Kansas State. Long posted ths following message on social media:
‘Thank you, Middle Tennessee, and all of your wonderful people, for eight years that enriched our lives beyond what we could’ve imagined.
Murfreesboro will always be a place we can call “home,” because of the many deep relationships God saw fit to bless us with in this special place.
I am personally forever grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside the many good men on our staff, and the high-caliber men & women inside MTSU Athletics. To all of the supporters who love our players and my own children, you helped make these years full of wonder.
Although it’s a bittersweet ‘see you later’ for now, our hearts are full because of how good this place is.
True Blue Always.
Wes & The Long Family
