Prestige Worldwide Sports Academy in Fort Lauderdale, FL is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Basketball Coach.

This position will work directly with our Post-Grad and High School basketball teams. This is an entry level position that will allow coaches to grow, learn, and develop while being exposed to athletics at the highest level. Assistant Coaches will have the opportunity to lead player development, mentor, teach “X’s and O’s”, assist in recruiting and assist in college placement.  This opportunity will give the assistant coaches the coaching and operations experience necessary to work in the basketball industry and progress to the college and professional basketball coaching levels.

Primary duties will include:

Housing supervision

Filming/Video Breakdown

On court instruction

Individual skill development

Statistics

Assist head coaches with practices and games

Equipment Management

Transportation

Daily Basketball Operations

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from a 4-Year accredited College or University

Previous experience working in College/Post Grad/High School Athletics

Must be able to work evenings/weekends and maintain a flexible work schedule

Preferred Qualifications:

Former college basketball Player or Manager

Previous Coaching experience

Desire to work in College/High School athletics

Experience using Video Breakdown software such as Hudl or Krossover

Assistant Coaches must have a valid driver’s license and be approved by vehicle insurance company.
