| Description: | We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Regional High School & Assistant Basketball Coach who is passionate about developing student-athletes both on and off the court. This role requires a strong commitment to fostering growth in three key areas: social development, academic achievement, and athletic performance.The ideal candidate will serve as a positive role model, mentor, and leader, helping student-athletes build character, discipline, and teamwork while competing at a high level.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement effective basketball training programs that enhance individual and team performanceMentor student-athletes in their social, academic, and athletic developmentSupport and reinforce academic accountability and eligibility standardsCollaborate with head coaches, assistant coaches, and school staff to build a cohesive programDemonstrate leadership both independently and within a team coaching environmentPromote a culture of discipline, sportsmanship, and respectAssist with game planning, scouting, and player development strategiesCommunicate effectively with players, parents, and administrationHelp organize team activities, travel, and program operationsQualifications:Previous coaching experience at the high school or competitive level preferredStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsAbility to build relationships with student-athletes and staffCommitment to developing well-rounded individuals beyond basketballKnowledge of the game, fundamentals, and player development techniquesPreferred Attributes:High energy and passion for coaching and mentorshipAbility to balance structure with motivation and encouragementStrong team-building mindset with the ability to lead independently when needed |
